Below are some of the things from my Friendsgiving menu that I found amazing recipes online!
*= editors notes

Brussels Sprouts with Bacon (Anthony Bourdain recipe)*: https://www.foodandwine.com/recipes/brussels-sprouts-bacon
*edits I made:
-I upped the amount of bacon to 1 pound (I used a hickory thick cut slab, but use what you have and like)
-I cut the amount of Brussels used by 1/2 and replaced it with an equal amount of cabbage
-I also had a small spaghetti squash that I cooked separately with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and added that to the final dish
-I actually have a copy of his cookbook which is where I originally got the recipe from, but this is a good and trusted website that had the recipe already laid out

Sausage Cornbread Stuffing (Bon Appetit)*:
*this recipe makes a lot, and i mean A LOT, of stuffing. If you have never had stuffing, or don't need an amount to serve a large crowd, than I highly suggest cutting this recipe in half. Even then you'll still have a lot. I suggest also using Johnsonville breakfast sausage links. Since I made the full batch, I bought the large 2LB pack at BJs. I tried the recipe a second and third time using Italian sausages taken out of the case and flavor wise, to me, it just didnt have the same good taste as it did with the breakfast links
Milk Buns (Hokkaido Style) (Joshua Weissman)*:
*Joshua Weissman is an internet sensation for his creations. This recipe is a few years old, but the method is simple and the results are amazing. I turned my rolls into little pumpkins for an extra boost of festiveness, and that's simply done by tying some strings around the rolls

Pumpkin Loaf (Food Network)*:
*this recipe makes 2 loaves, so it's simple to cut in half. But if you do choose to make and bake both loaves, they do freeze very well. Let the loaves fully cool, then securely wrap in plastic wrap. Make sure to label and date so you know how long its been in there. I left mine in the freezer for a little longer than a week and it was fine, but I see no issue in leaving this in the freezer for upward of a month as long as it's properly wrapped.
-I also added toasted pepitas to the top of the loaf to add some extra texture since the loaf itself is very soft and moist. Served with some homey butter, and you're all set!

Homemade Apple Cider (Delish)*:
*this is the easiest and most delicious recipe ever. Just set it and let it go for 2 hours and you have a 3qt's of a delicious drink. Served hot or cold its amazing, I put 1T of cider in my coffee with some cinnamon and a splash of French Vanilla creamer and it's a perfect little fall treat. Serve warm and add in some whiskey for a Hot Toddy. It can be made with any of your favorite types of apples and lasts a long time in the fridge. It's a great make ahead drink to just have on hand

Macaroni and Cheese (Bon Appetit)*:
*my brother was upset that I didn't initially have mac & cheese on my menu so the day of I decided to try and make it for the first time. I had a cute thanksgiving turkey shaped pasta noodles so it worked out fine. I ended up getting raving reviews and was so thrilled. I used garlic toasted Italian breadcrumbs I had laying in my fridge instead of panko and it gave it a perfect crunch that I loved
Hope these recipes can be of use for your next gathering. Happy cooking!
