Friendsgiving: one of the greatest holidays ever. Where friends, the family you get to choose, are brought together over a warm, delicious, homemade meal, to be extra appreciative of one another, and be thankful for the small things that life has offered. Similar to Thanksgiving spent with blood relatives, but without the chance of bigoted, racist, homophobic, transphobic, family members ruining your meal!
I'll be hosting a small Friendsgiving dinner for my close friends this weekend, while also collecting donations for a local food bank (more info to be found here --> https://boundbybread.wixsite.com/boundbybread/post/virtual-food-drive) & wanted to share my menu with you!
Some of these delicious recipes I've developed throughout the years, and some I've taken from cookbooks and other smart (home) chefs online! I'll be posting photos and recipes of everything I'm making after this weekend so stay tuned and take what you need for your own holiday dinner/meals!
Spending holidays with loved ones is such an important thing to me, but with the current and ongoing situation of the world, it's a lot harder to do. I'm happy to take the proper protocol to keep me and the limited loved ones I'm seeing safe, sound, and healthy this holiday season. I'm doing this by limiting the amount of people in my home, following proper cleaning and sanitizing methods, and by wearing a mask in public while I do my food shopping. Do your part, slow the spread, wear a mask, and take proper precautions this holiday season!
